The Power of Yes & No: The ability to powerfully say YES
Speaker: Sherri Elliott-Yeary
Women who make the biggest differences, grow the biggest businesses, and enjoy deeply fulfilling and passionate lives all take responsibility for achieving what they desire. They share a common understanding that the only way to control their futures is to assume the responsibility of making conscious choices. If you want to take control of your future, then consciously choose your destiny and take conscious focused actions to attain it!
We find ourselves in a funny situation these days. We say "yes" to all the annoying schedule stretching requests but say "no" to all the things that help us grow as individuals.
Growing up, many of us where taught that caring is sharing. We were expected to indulge requests because if showed we cared. There is an old Zen saying that goes like this, "If you chase two rabbits, both will escape." When we learn to powerfully say "yes" to only those activities that truly nourish your soul and "no" to those that deplete you, will you be able to live your best life!
